How To Make And Decorate A Patchwork Jacket From An Old Shirt

I had SO much fun making this wearable art jacket! In this diy video we will be creating a beautiful whimsical jacket from an old thrift store pajama top. I will show you in great detail how you can create your own. This creation was born from the need to have a road trip project that I could work on during our one month RV trip to Florida. Majority of this is hand stitched with embroidery thread, I used the sewing machine on some parts, but I show alternatives if you don't have a sewing machine. I'm going to just give a list here of many of the technique we will be doing: adding larger sleeves, making pockets, patchwork with vintage fabrics, cuffs, appliques, dying with Rit pink dye, whip stitching with embroidery thread, fabric lettering, tea staining and so much more!
