how to make a very good salad
big salad szn is upon us
(makes 6)
prep:
dice a red onion, large cucumber or a few lil cucumbers, and a package of tiny tomatoes and mix together
add 3 servings of A Carb
if you want to eat your protein cold, prep 6 servings of it and add
if you want to eat your protein hot, leave it alone for now
side note: if you’re eating meat perhaps prep half of it and keep it separate for food safety reasons idk how long it lasts in the fridge you’re asking the wrong guy
dressing:
1/3c tahini
splash of a pungent liquid (lemon or lime juice, olive brine, pickle brine, vinegar…)
blend a bundle of an herb with some water and whisk it in
season w salt, pepper, and a generous amount of nutritional yeast
then slowly add water until it’s the right consistency, it will thicken up in the fridge
at lunchtime:
add 1/6 of your veg/carb/cold protein mix
if eating your protein hot, make it now and then add it
chop your greens of choice
dress!
fun extras:
something crunchy fermenty pickly
feta
chili crisp
crunch nut/seed/crumb
w/e your heart desires really!!!!
