How to make a record player plinth using solid timber - woodworking

Learn how to make a record player plinth using solid timber without a CNC router. This record player plinth is designed for a Garrard 301 unit using two 12" tonearms/pickups. Made from solid Blackwood and Jarrah. It is a commission job for a client of mine. I use a series of templates and a jigsaw and router and to produce five layers which then get joined to make one massive block approximately 615mm wide x 520mm deep x 150mm thick.
