How To Make A Paper Spool For Your Slow Stitched Scroll #stitching #embroidery #papercraft

I made a rolled paper spool for one of my slow stitched scrolls. I’ll share how I made the house scroll in the next video. It’s best to use flyers or newspapers because they are free and the ends stick together easily.  I recommend using a skewer to roll the centre tube. A larger object will create a bigger hole and I feel that makes the spool soft and squishy. Simply add additional layers of paper to increase the size of your spool and bead ends instead.
