How to layer coloured pencil - further base layers - starting to look a bit prettier!

Second part of my layering video showing the initial base layers of a spaniel's ear. I do spend quite a bit of time adding these layers and building up the structure of the ear, but you'll see at the end the result really is beautiful. Lovely rich colours, soft looking fur, and no stripes to be seen ;) I'm using Clairefontaine Pastelmat in dark grey, Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran D'Ache Pablos and Derwent Lightfast pencils. The piece of paper under my hand is glassine paper, which I use to stop my hand touching the paper and smudging my drawing.
