How To Install & Configure Windows 95 In (MacBox) 86Box
I've gotten a request to show how to setup a Windows 95 virtual machine in MacBox/86Box, no matter what version of Windows 95 you chose to install and configure in 86Box the Windows 95 installation is very straight forward after you get hardware portion of the Windows 95 virtual machine settings all set up to your liking. You'll need the virtual machine to use compatible hardware for Windows 95 unless if you want to install update drivers for that particular piece of hardware in your virtual machine. If you're installing Windows 95 OSR 2.5 you can bypass the IE4 setup by terminating it using Crtl-Alt-Del if you going install Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95, then install IE4 after you install Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95 and you'll need to install Office 97 which includes a patch for Desktop Themes in the Valuepack folder on the Office 97 CD-Rom which replaces Themes.exe with a revised version of Desktop Themes and renaming the old version of Themes.exe to Themes.old once you use the Desktop Themes patch.
