How to Draw Faces Using Your Pencil as a Measuring Tool

Example: Comparative Measuring. I also used the Reilly Method (aka Head Abstraction) techniques in this exercise. My goal is to explain how to use the pencil and thumb in measuring and then comparing distances, angles and relationships on a portrait. Please please let me know if this POV camera angle is helpful or not. It was difficult keeping my hand steady as I looked on the camera screen making my measurements.
