How to Dodge and Burn Like a Pro using Soft Light in Photoshop

Learn how to use the "dodge and burn" technique with soft light blending and selections in Photoshop to add model-like lighting and sculpting to your photos. ►Download Sample Photo: https://photoshopdesire.com/how-to-dodge-and-burn-like-a-pro-in-photoshop/ https://www.patreon.com/posts/how-to-dodge-and-79100464 Follow these steps: 1) Open your portrait in Photoshop and create a new layer filled with 50% grey, 2) Rename it "DODGE" and change its blending mode to soft light, 3) Duplicate the layer and rename it "BURN", 4) Use the Channels tab to select highlight and non-highlight areas for dodge and burn, respectively, 5) Use a soft brush with white for dodge and black for burn to paint on the selected areas, 6) Whiten eyes, highlight eyebrows, mouth, and teeth for dodge, and contour the nose with burn, 7) Group both layers and adjust the opacity to your liking.
