After a slope slide tested an old pressure-treated wall, we stepped in to remove the damaged wall, dig into the hillside, and frame a more substantial concrete retaining wall. This project spanned over 45-50 feet long and reached up to 7 feet tall. We'll handle tight access, remove 60 yards of dirt, and use our brand-new Makita jackhammer to dig a solid keyway footing. With hard rock making the digging challenging, adjustments were made in the field, showing how we adapt and build to last. We break down every part of the process, from setting stakes and framing to using our trusty rebar-tying gun (aka "The Terminator") and pouring the wall.
