How to build a Honeybee Swarm Trap | beekeeping

Here is our latest how-to video showing how we take a small amount of lumber and build a honeybee swarm trap. There are many ways to build a swarm trap and many designs but we feel this design (originally shown to us by Neighbor Nate Bees) we modified this design to work for us in this less than 30 min build. You can finish off these swarm traps with exterior paint, wax dip, or just do a quick surface burn to help preserve the wood for years to come.
