How Star Wars Changed the World

Star Wars - Episode IV: A New Hope Review | A New Legacy This one took forever. I really hope you guys enjoyed it. I knew I wanted to do something for May 4th but I didn't know exactly what that should be. I had a few ideas like talking about the creation of the franchise, my personal history, or a classic review/video essay. In the end, I combined all 3 ideas into this video. I recently got a comment that mentioned my general lack of emotion in my videos. For the most part, that's intentional. These are analysis first and foremost. Emotion isn't my priority. Although, the general monotony of my voice is just how I sound normally. The comment did get me thinking though, I often talk about films I hadn't even watched before making a video on them. Because of that, sometimes the passion just isn't there. I still enjoy making the videos a ton because writing is a hobby of mine, but admittedly, the videos just aren't as good if my heart isn't in it. At least not to the same level as my Whiplash video, or even my Dragon Ball videos back in the day. All this led me to consider what I was most passionate about. And Star Wars near tops that list. I hope that was evident here. In my next video I'll be starting a review series on a critically acclaimed director. Starting with their largely unknown and thus underrated debut.
