How Powerful is The Tutorial Goblin Staff in Oblivion?

In today's video, I wanted to do a dive into the tutorial goblin shaman staff that's featured in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The staff can be found in the starting area of the game, right after your released from jail. The staff has a rather unique look to it, featuring a goblin's head at its end and a rod made up of bones. As for its effects, it only deals 5 points of shock damage to the target. So, in an attempt to see how good this thing really is, I take it on a variety of side quests in the game, and face off against multiple enemies. I get a feel for different environments, NPCs, enemy forces as well as overall level. Join me on this adventure to see if whether or not it's a good, bad or mediocre weapon.
