For many decades, the small island of Malta had probably the most unusual bus system in Europe. Fancy, historic vintage vehicles were on the road here, most of them individually assembled in Malta. The owners of the buses were not any big companies - but the drivers themselves. In 2011, however, this story ended - and overnight the island of Malta lost one of its greatest landmarks. But why?
