How I Turned My Suzuki PV50 into a 20HP Beast!
This has been a long project, almost 6 months! Basically a full restoration and transformation with some big changes.
I take you through each step of the way. I fully stripped down this little Suzuki PV50 EPO Minibike and rebuilt everything from the ground up, powdercoating the frame and various components yet keeping the original patina on the tank and plastics.
After sourcing a 1981 Suzuki RM80 Engine (19.5PS) I stripped that down and fully rebuilt everything with new seals, bearings and gaskets and then upgrading and engine swapping in the Suzuki PV50.
Race exhaust from JHK.
HPI 2TEN Ignition Kit.
(RM80 Engine swapped)
I also converted the 6v Electrics to 12v DC.
There was 3 products I used throughout the build that came in handy at all times. These were:
Evaporust - (used to remove rust inside the fuel tank and all nuts&bolts where required): https://ebay.us/WhZwt1
Autosol Metal Polish - (used to polish all chrome components and wheel hubs etc): https://ebay.us/8JWye9
ZX1 Extralube Super Grease - (used on seals, and components where required): https://ebay.us/5GgdZB
