How I Spent $50 a Week on Groceries for A Family of 6!! Tips for Shopping Cheap

Hey Foxy People!! Today I’m walking you through how I do my grocery shopping trips for our family of 6! I do use price matching, but you could still use these tips even if you can’t use price matching. I must confess I do not go shopping every week though. I only go about every 1.5-2 months. Of course, I refresh the fresh fruits and veggies as well as milk and bread as needed. So, I’m sure I’m losing money doing it this way. HOWEVER, this is what has been working for us and what I’ll continue to do for now. I also only really spend about $350-$400 every 2 months. Which works out to about $50 a week…. for a family of 6! Add on all the little extras I have to buy here and there, it’s still only about $100 a week- which isn’t terrible! To save my stress level when I see a $350 bill at the end of check out, I do purchase a $50 gift card every week and save them for my shopping trip.
