Having ADHD means that I crave the stability of routines but I also rebel against restrictive habits.
It's important for me to have a guidance system that feels abundant and supportive, not punishing.
In this video I explain some of the gentle principles that help me structure my routines.
My cyclical bullet journal encourages me to tackle routines -- daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly -- as part of a modular system.
I also use a menu of options so that I have the flexibility to make choices instead of feeling trapped.
