How I Drone on the Elektron Syntakt

Some time ago I posted a video which was a drone performance using the Syntakt and I promised that I would (eventually, as it happens) follow this up on a video on the theory and process of putting such a performance together and here (eventually) we are! In this video I begin by talking about some of the theory that is needed to understand how to treat the different categories of machines in a drone environment, before going on to demonstrate building a syntakt drone from scratch. Oh, and Ekekron released the new 1.2 firmware 2 hours before this video went live (great timing!) and it looks like from the videos I've seen both SY Raw and SY Swarm are "True Drones" and they both sound amazing for this kind of patch! Wish I had known about this update about 3 days ago when I recorded the video, but such is life!
