The Earth's climate is in a constant state of change based on its position relative to the sun. This relationship means that as the planet's relationship to the sun changes, unexpected series of events can produce remarkably different landmarks. Such a thing happened not too long ago in Africa, where, for a brief time, the Sahara desert reverted back to a lush grassland.
