Manufacturers and drivers take race-going versions of road cars through snow, ice, gravel and tarmac, in any country, any time and any weather to set the fastest times. Modern WRC cars feature complex hybrid systems similar to Formula 1, with highly sophisticated suspensions systems built to handle the extreme conditions these cars are put under.
