Hornresp tutorial Part 3 - offset design, a bass reflex and introduction to more terminology

In this Hornresp tutorial we learn all about the "offset" feature when we design a Bass Reflex or ported design. The way we model this bass reflex is very different to our previous video as we now start to view our model dimensions using the "S" values and not volume. Our volume is calculated using the "L" values & combined we generate a volume! If you understand how to model a basic offset design the other designs become much easier such as transmission line speakers and other horns. When designing tall speaker enclosures such as multi way floor standing units the relationship between the driver and port start to impact on the performance and resonance modes, you will now start to see the distance between parts matter!
