In this video we take a walk out into the backyard bee yard to find bees flying and cleaning house. Within hours all goes quiet on the landing boards as the weather takes a frozen turn. From sunny to snowy in 48 hours. Even late season swarm captures are still showing signs of life here. Even the small swarm clusters are showing signs that they may make it. IF we get a meaningful warm-up within the next couple of weeks, things are looking good. The bees look healthy and as they weren't pulling dead bees out of their hives and there were no pupa carcass remnants, it's promising. The observation hive is going strong and is building up in numbers so when the weather breaks, they will be ready to fly! Currently 19 Deg. F with 25 mph wind-gusts and more snow on the way.
