Hold down kit

I got a 'new to me' clamp kit the other day and after thinking on it, decided that there were a few things that could be said about clamp kits and their application, so this is it. I start off with some basic stuff but a bit past the 10 minute mark I start talking about some enhancements that may be useful to even experienced users.
