Hat School - The Classic Men's Flat Cap step by step tutorial

This iconic hat never ever goes out of style! Men love it, women love it. Always a favorite in our business and always sells out fast. Make it a winner for your business too! Or make it for the family and friends. Father's day, birthday and holiday gift winner. Use everyday fabrics or re-purposed fabrics from a favorite cotton shirt etc to make this cap. New stabilizers in the marketplace means we don't have to struggle with plastic visors. The visor construction in this video uses a flexible firm stabilizer that is easy to sew. The cap has a retro but jaunty look as a result. You can make it with a snap in the visor or you can pin the top to the visor, or you can sew across the front for that sloped flat look. Our own Mad Capper Adrian wears this style of hat just about every day. There is a free simple PDF copy of the pattern in size Large, which is 23.5 inches in head circumference or 60 cm, available for download from our website. No personal information is required.
