Grafting Fruit Trees | Broken Apple Tree – How do I save the fruit variety?

If a precious fruit tree brakes for some reason, here are a few techniques you can use to try to save the fruit variety. Grafting is one of them, if the original rootstock is still viable. You can also graft a few scions to another rootstock to make a copy of the tree. And if you don’t have rootstocks available, you can also try to root a few cuttings of the main tree. If rooted, they will keep the variety viable, at least until you find an adequate rootstock.
