Giuseppe Ottaviani, born on November 12, 1978, in Viterbo, Italy, is a renowned DJ and record producer specializing in trance music. He began his musical journey at the age of four, studying piano, and later transitioned into electronic music during his teenage years. In 1999, Ottaviani co-founded the project NU NRG, releasing tracks on Paul van Dyk's Vandit Records. After departing from NU NRG in 2005, he pursued a successful solo career, producing notable tracks such as "Linking People," "Through Your Eyes," and "No More Alone." Ottaviani is acclaimed for his innovative live performances, particularly his "Live" shows, which have redefined traditional DJ sets by incorporating live keyboards and other instruments. This approach has been showcased at major electronic music festivals, including Tomorrowland, Dreamstate, Electric Daisy Carnival, A State of Trance, and Transmission. Throughout his career, Ottaviani has released several studio albums, including "Go!" (2009), "Magenta" (2013), "Alma" (2016), and "Evolver" (2019). He has also collaborated with various artists and contributed remixes for tracks by prominent names in the electronic music scene. In addition to his solo work, Ottaviani is part of the live electronic music act PureNRG, alongside Solarstone. Formed in 2015, PureNRG combines the strengths of both artists to deliver dynamic live performances and has released several singles, including "Pump Up the NRG" and "Secret of the Sahara."
