How to create a glitch effect with Gimp is an easy step-by-step tutorial. This effect can be used on black and white images, colour images, and text.
In this video, we'll simulate a few digital errors by splitting the RGB channels. We will look at how to use the Offset tool for moving layers with more precision. Also, we'll add a video degradation filter, and create a vignette filter to finish off the glitch effect. Enjoy!
