Getting Fluent In Italian In 6 Weeks (Weeks 1 & 2 : The 1000-Word Method)

One of the questions I get most often is how to start learning a language from scratch. In this video, I chose a language I had no prior knowledge of - Italian. My approach to learning a brand new language was to start by building a solid base vocabulary of about 1000 words. I wanted to do this as efficiently as possible so I decided to memorize an entire Italian YouTube video in order to develop a very deep understanding of all the words and phrases contained in the video. This video is the first of a 3-part video series. Each video will detail my learning process over 2 weeks, which means this video series will cover a total of 6 weeks, in which I will attempt to build conversational fluency in Italian from absolute zero.
