Gathering Firewood for the Winter at My Off Grid Cabin

In this video I gather firewood for the winter at my off grid cabin in the woods. I drive my truck down the nearby forest roads to find dead trees that have fallen into the roadside ditches and turnouts. Using my Makita xcu04 electric battery powered chainsaw, I cut the logs into pieces that I later split and stack. I also share a few of my chainsaw and wood splitting techniques. Thanks for watching!
