Galaxy-Eyes - Failed Cards, Archetypes, and Sometimes Mechanics in Yu-Gi-Oh

Out of all the cards with the “Insert Color” Eyes card, what even is Galaxy-Eyes? Galactic-Eyes that see space? Eyes that look like a galaxy? Whatever it is, it certainly doesn’t mean a successful archetype. Konami has been supplying Great Value Blue-Eyes with support for over a decade, and the deck has had little to show for it outside of being an incredible deck to play at your locals. With the 184 billion Xyzs given to the deck and the easy access to make Rank 8s, it’s honestly surprising that the archetype hasn’t impacted any of the metas. Well, It doesn’t help that the archetype’s support is split between Galaxy, Photon, and even Cipher monsters for who-knows-what. So what stalled the Galaxy-Eyes from becoming a beast?
