🔥 Frymaster Clogged Return Line? Here's How to Fix It Like a Pro! 🛠️
🛠️ Another Frymaster with a clog! This time, the blockage was in the return line before the valve. In this video, I’ll show you how I tackled the issue and share some important tips to keep you safe and avoid common mistakes.
⚠️ A few key warnings before you start:
✅ Drain the vat you’re working on — don’t risk spilling hot grease.
✅ Unplug the fryer to prevent accidental startup.
✅ This fryer runs at 350°F — that grease can burn you fast.
✅ The return line is pressurized — bleed it off before disconnecting.
✅ Watch your surroundings — those hot components can be brutal.
Once you’re safe and ready:
🔧 Remove the back panel to access the return valve.
🔧 Back out the two Allen screws and remove the valve.
🔧 Use two wrenches to break loose stubborn connections without damaging the stem.
🔧 Clear out those compacted crumbs — I used some nacho bowls to make a little grease river. (Spoiler: I still made a mess! 😅)
🔧 Apply Nylon White pipe dope by Viper for a solid seal.
🔧 Be sure your flare lines thread freely — if not, stop! Forcing it will ruin your day.
🔧 Don’t forget to open the valve before firing it up — I learned that the hard way. 😬
Once everything’s back together, that Frymaster was filtering like a champ! 💪
