FreeCAD BIM: Create Site Plan from 3D Model Using Tech Draw Workbench

This tutorial provides all needed steps for beginner create 2D construction documents in the form of a site plan on a sheet. Tech Draw is used in the tutorial apart from the BIM workbench. After finishing tutorial, viewers will be seasoned in creating 2D architectural construction documentation in FreeCAD. Viewers will learn how to create a sheet (or page), place site plan view on it. Creating and adjusting TechDraw dimensions and hatches is also demonstrated. Leaders and annotations are also part of the final site plan. On of possible ways to place north arrow symbol on the page is part of the tutorial too. Export to PDF including setup of face color is explained at the end of the tutorial. Associativity of dimensions and hatches on the page is demonstrated by applying changes to the 3D model.
