This series traces the history of ancient Iran from the rise of the Achaemenid dynasty to the fall of the Sassanid Empire. The stories are reconstructed based on existing historical records, using animation to bring to life events for which no visual documentation exists. In this episode, we follow the foundation of the Achaemenid Empire, focusing on the central figure of Cyrus the Great and his achievements. The episode also explores the economic and political systems of the Achaemenids, as well as the structure of their military.
