Forging a Gladiator Helmet - Part 1 - Hot Dishing

This bowl is the beginning of a series wherein I construct a bronze gladiatorial helmet. The starting disc is 1/4" thick material with 8 3/4" diameter. In addition to dishing, various cold forming techniques are utilized to achieve the final shape.
