The Ford Puma isn't all that new, but it is affordable and very likeable. It's fun to drive, starts at just over $30,000 (AUD), and offers a far bigger boot space than you'd expect for something that's just 4.1 metres in length. It's not perfect, and it still has a silly option box you need to tick for the safety spec you should get standard, but there's good reason this little SUV makes more sense than cars like the Chery Omoda 5, GWM Haval Jolion, Mazda CX-3 and plenty of others.
