FOR YOUR EYES ONLY | Opening Scene – Roger Moore | James Bond
FOR YOUR EYES ONLY has a dramatic pre-title sequence with James Bond (Roger Moore) attempting to take control of a remotely-hijacked helicopter. It was filmed at Beckton gas works in East London which at the time was in the process of being demolished. To film the helicopter passing through the warehouse, it was attached to rails and pulled along a track to make it appear as if it were flying. Directed by John Glen.
