Fishing AT Ogmore by Sea 25/3/24 - Finally a decent fish comes ashore amongst the usual dogfish

Once again I fish Ogmore by Sea , this time on a much bigger tide than the previous week . With double the tidal difference , fish down to low (1.3m) and up to near high (9.5 m Porthcawl tides) , starting on the sand and ending up in the rocks I parked in the car park between Ogmore by Sea and Southdown (£6-50) and walked directly down and fished almost in front Using a variety of rigs and baits, catch fish from the off and it's a very busy initial 3-4 hrs from the sand. Conditions get more challenging as I'm pushed up onto the rocks Baits (sandeel, squid, bluey, mackerel and anchovy) supplied by Dave Richards Angling in Newport (Gwent)
