I am very grateful for having my own space and what we call here an "affordable" rent for a 1-bed apartment in Dublin given the current state of the rental market / housing crisis in the country. I have been living in this city since 2015 (moved from Paris) and spent a fair good amount of time sharing and changing accommodations (in my 20s).
