Finding ICC printer profiles for photo and art papers. What if one isn't listed for your printer

What to do if you can't find a printer profile for your paper and printer. If you can't make one, then looking at other paper suppliers may help. Remember there are only a few paper makers and your paper may well be supported under a different brand name. The right profile isn't always available, even for printer maker's own papers. Can you really get away with using the 'wrong' profile?
