In Film Scoring for beginners episode 2 we talk about how to develop a theme from a motif. We break down the melody from a track I composed called "Ichthys" (greek word for fish). Furthermore, we talk about harmonization and how to develop a small motif to a full melodic theme.
I hope this is helpful to aspiring composers who want to work in film, games and media composition.
