In this video we take a look at how to define a wrapped ply by creating curve offsets using Fibersim with NX 1953. Fibersim has a number of curve creation tools, one being curve offset. Essentially, we have the ability to select a curve or edge on the tool surface and specify a direction point and distance to generate a pair of curves. The newly generated curves will define the start and end of the wrapped ply. After the start and end curves are defined, along with the other minimum requirements to define a ply, we demonstrate how to run a producibility, generate a flat pattern, and define a flat pattern layout. ______________________________________________________________________
