Fertilizing Figs In Spring - Get Your Fig Trees Off On The Right Foot
It is now March and our fig trees are beginning to break dormancy for most of us. This is a critical time to fertilize our figs. For most of us who grow figs in containers, the containers have probably been sitting all winter and are depleted of nutrients, so it is extremely important we fertilize our trees properly so they come out of dormancy and put on vigorous, healthy new growth at the right time. This video discusses: 1. How to fertilize your fig trees in early spring. 2. Why you should fertilize your figs differently in early spring than you should in late spring or summer. 3. How to properly time your first fertilizing of the year. This is a detailed video and quite specific.
