In this tutorial, we walk through building one of the most efficient witch farms available in Minecraft patch 1.21. With this farm, you can expect to collect around 8,300 redstone dust per hour—significantly outperforming stacking raid farms, which have been heavily nerfed by Mojang's recent updates. This farm is simpler to build, less laggy, and just as effective, producing not only redstone but also gunpowder and other valuable witch drops like glowstone, sugar, and spider eyes.
The farm operates with minimal logistical effort and works great for multiplayer servers, thanks to clever mob despawning mechanics. And while this design isn’t a dedicated creeper farm, its gunpowder output makes it a useful alternative for players looking to gather gunpowder for TNT or fireworks.
In this video, I also cover spawnproofing techniques, how to synchronize the shifting floors for maximum efficiency, and how to apply looting for even more drops. If you're looking to expand the storage system or need help with other survival-friendly designs, be sure to check out the resources we have archived in our Discord.
