F/A-18 Carrier Flying: VFA-154 Black Knight Cruise 2021 (4K)
Experience F/A-18 Superhornet aircraft carrier aviation aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) out at sea with VFA-154, "The Black Knights", for their 2020-21 deployment. For six months, the crew worked around the clock to defend and protect freedom and navigation of the Western Pacific. The Black Knights serve as one of four F/A-18 squadrons aboard. The video highlights the different aircrew and sailors that make up this team and some of the details that go into flight operations on a Nimitz-class, nuclear-powered aircraft carrier. Video footage taken by LT Taylor “Gary the Snail” Barrett and other members of the Black Knights, with special thanks to Sarah Heinz for providing fly in clips. You are welcome to share this video, just please be sure to give credit. Go Navy!
