Exploring Rhythmic Ambiguity with HY-RPE2 & Electribe 2

🔄 Exploring the edge between repetition and variation. In this session, I'm using the HY-RPE2 (Euclidean sequencer) to drive the Korg Electribe 2. The sequence floats somewhere between clearly looping and slightly evolving — a subtle space where rhythmic ambiguity lives. 🎛 Setup: - Sequencer: HY-RPE2 (VST) - Sound source: Korg Electribe 2 - MIDI routing via REAPER The patterns are generated using Euclidean principles: equal spacing of beats within a set number of steps, but with shifts, offsets, and layered variations. It creates a hypnotic, almost-but-not-quite repetitive groove.
