eoLithic (2003) CS movie - by Zaknafein

This is my original award-winning eoLithic movie, reuploaded for YouTube (it was made prior to YouTube’s existence). Original release date: October 10, 2003 The movie was never officially uploaded to YouTube, but an older review of reliable download data suggested that the movie was downloaded at least 290.000 times by 2006. Around this time, a fan also uploaded the movie to YouTube and it had 69.000 views before being taken down. If you are wondering why some shots have left-handed weapons: Two players (Knoxville and Luke) play with the weapon on the left, and so the footage was altered in the console for each recording of these players. This is why the footage may appear slightly different from other appearance of the same frags (e.g. Oslo by Storm or MindTrek). This was largely because of two former eoLithic players, Naikon and Knoxville. Although they liked the movie’s editing, they expressed some concern that the movie had too many eco frags (hence “ecoLithic” in some early news posts). While the other eoL players and managers gave positive feedback on the movie, it was decided to make the movie a tribute to the clan rather than an officially endorsed movie. This was a compromise agreed upon by both parties: I did this movie for free and spent two months on it, and was not eager to conduct a massive re-edit. Rebranding it allowed the eoL players the freedom to officially detach themselves from the movie, if they wished to do so. Fortunately, the movie was a success and no players or managers from eoL ever officially detached themselves from the movie, as far as I am aware.
