Entitled Passenger Spits on a Gate Agent and Chaos Erupts

On May 29, 2024 in Florida, an officer was working patrol at the airport when his assistance was requested at a gate. When he arrived on scene, an airline employee told him that a passenger had threatened to hit and spit on her after she had charged her for her carry-on bag. Because of this, a supervisor determined that the woman could not be allowed on the plane and called the officer for assistance in escorting the woman from the gate.
