So I was waiting on parts for my CB750 Cafe Racer and thought it'd be swell to start yet another project.
I bought this "KR Style" bolt-on hardtail from Lowbrow Customs when it was on sale a few months ago, intending to put it on my 1965 Harley Davidson Sportster XLCH when I had a little downtime. I figured I'd document how it all went down.
Overall it was a pretty straightforward install, though I obviously have a lot of work left to do before this bike is roadworthy again. I dig how this thing looks and the fit and finish was pretty good, though I did have to do a little finessing to get everything to fit.
This isn't a sponsored video or anything, it's just that I went looking for an install video when I was considering buying this and didn't find one that started from a complete bike. Figured it might help someone else out down the line.
Hey if the hardtail is bolt-on is it still a chopper??
