Dwarf Fortress: From Silk to Carnage — An Overseer Answers Violence with Violence (No Commentary)

As always, we start by taking stock of the fortress and catching up on our ever-growing task list. Things were looking steady until a dwarf became possessed and demanded materials we didn’t have on hand. Thankfully, a quick dig into the caverns got us the silk we needed, and he completed a new artifact—one more for the display hall. Not long after, a goblin siege hit. I tried to wait them out behind our gates, but impatience got the better of me. One snuck in early and tragically took a child before we could intervene. That sealed it. We opened the gates and answered their violence with our own. The fortress stands strong—for now.
