DUCK HUNTING A Hidden BEAVER POND On Public Land (Limited Out)

Duck hunting on a tiny beaver pond is something I've been missing since I left Virginia, so when I stumbled across this hidden hole on a recent hunt I was itching to try to shoot some ducks out of it. I told my buddy Scott about it and after looking over the spot on OnX, we decided to give it a try the next morning with the hope that we might be able to trick a few mallards into coming in. We threw out a small spread and once first light came we knew we were in a good spot as ducks began dumping into our hole. Fog and a lack of wind made things tougher as we got later in the morning but with a couple adjustments to our spread and hide we were able to pick off a mallard limit along with a few bonus ducks.
