Driving up the HIGHEST road in WA State - Hart's Pass & Slate Peak
After a month down with valve issues, the ol' 4.0 with 220k on the clock needed a top-end rebuild. I was pretty surprised by this development, as I taken very good care of my Jeep and never beat on it.
With the top-end gone through, she seems to be back to normal. Gaining trust back in the Jeep by taking her on a mini road trip to the Mount Baker Wilderness area of Washington State.
September is usually an interesting month for the PNW, as it's either still warm with summer-like temps or quickly becomes fall and rainy. My only gripe with the beautiful Pacific Northwest is how short the fall color season is. I plan on at least a couple fall videos before winter hits, so stay tuned for that.
I did not have as much time to film this video as I would have liked, but I hope you can take away some interesting facts about Washington State. I thoroughly enjoyed this road trip, Highway20 is a beautiful drive in general, but combining it with Hart's Pass and Slate Peak Lookout was the icing on the cake.
Thanks for following along.
